Greetings Art Fans!
You are cordially invited to help create not one but two community murals thanks to the generosity and support of the folks at Jerry's Artarama (Austin)!
RAINDATE!! As it is supposed to rain Sunday the 22, we are moving the event to Saturday, May 28, 2016 11:30 AM until 5:00 or we are done!
My students had a competition and "Art is Sweet So Give the Earth a Treat" proposal won and we will be painting it on the backside of Jerry's Art A Rama.
We will also be creating a "Before I Die" mural inspired by the work of artist Candy Chang. "Before I Die" is an interactive mural using chalkboard and chalk where the public is invited to write what they would like to do in their lifetimes.

Both events will take place during the last day of the West Austin Studio Tour.
