At Junior VASE, some of our most talented and dedicated 6th, 7th, and 8th graders including Art I students will be interviewed by a juror about their work. They have created a variety of projects, all student directed by me and my fellow Art Teacher.
Projects include Mexican Amate paintings, Mexican Alebrije animal sculpture, watercolor self-portraits, graphite drawings, and much more.
Students have also been busy creating works in an established 8"x10" format for Jerry's Art-a-Rama Middle School Art Competition where students also have the opportunity to sell their work and keep the profits! Sale and opening are this Sunday, May 5th, from 3 to 5 pm at Jerry's Art-A-Rama at
