Congratulations to our many University Interscholastic League Winners!

Earlier this month, several of my students at Ojeda Middle School competed in the Drawing, Painting, 3D, and Misc categories at the UIL competitions. Suffice to say, we made out like BANDITS! I am unbelievably proud of my talented "Gator" artists.

Lessons included:
Pencil portraits exploring value range of Civil Rights Leaders after learning about non-violent social change in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday

 Keith Haring paintings learning about color theory

Cubism and Pablo Picasso split portraits using oil pastels
